Does anyone else feel that horoscope compatibility is REALLY inaccurate?
I mean when it comes to romantic relationships, not so much friendship (though that too, sometimes)!

My partner is Cancer and I?m an Aquarius, for a start. We honestly don?t fight and we have what others have described as the ?perfect relationship?. His two best friends are both Aquarius and Libra, and his girlfriend before me was Scorpio, whom he had a very turbulent relationship with and fought all the time with. Basically, it was as bad as it gets without cheating.

All of the Cancerian people I know who are in relationships are currently dating an Aquarius, and have been for lengthy periods of time without big problems.

I personally have only ever dated water signs, semi-successfully ? the only air sign I ever dated I found boring and too similar. I had a large group of air sign friends (three Geminis, two Libras) and I found them too irritating to be around. I currently hang around with a Taurus, Cancer and a Scorpio when I?m not alone.

Thoughts?

well good for you. I?m an Aquarius and I can?t stand Cancers, especially the guys. So don?t go around saying ALL Aquarius people like Cancers cuz I certainly don?t.

I don?t think you can say just from the sun sign. You need to look at the whole ?synastry?. This means looking for aspects between the various planets. Also look at the 7th house of the two partners. Usually you attract and are attracted to someone who has the traits of the sign on your 7th house cusp. That goes for friendships as much as romantic relationships.

Yeah. Astrology has to stereotype (or it would not be astrology) and show bias based on the calendar. This has no logic or reason. No one controls when and where they are born. Making astrology a uniquely bigoted concept when it comes to fortune telling.

I?ll never let others pick my friends or my relationships. Certainly not something based in myth and superstition. Are you willing to apply astrology?s bias against family members that also have no control of their birthdays?
